DESCRIPTION | USCG approved course. Satisfies licensing requirements of 46 CFR 10.209, 46 CRF 10.305 (c)(4), and 46 CFR 10.480 for re-certification as Radar Observer (Unlimited), and the radar training requirements for Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of 500 GT and over. | |
Radar Observer (Unlimited) (5 Days) |
DESCRIPTION |
USCG approved course. Satisfies licensing requirements of 46 CFR 10.209, 46 CRF 10.305 (c)(1), and 46 CFR 10.480 for endorsement as Radar Observer (Unlimited). | |
ARPA (4 Days) |
DESCRIPTION | USCG approved course. Satisfies licensing requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(m)(1) and IMO resolution A.482(XII). | |
Combined Radar Refresher & Recertification (2 Days) |
DESCRIPTION | Designed for those who are not practiced in radar plotting, and are uncertain of their radar abilities. Day 1 is devoted to refreshing a student's radar skills. Day 2 is a 1-Day Radar Recertification (see description above) |

STCW Refresher (2 1/2 Days) |
DESCRIPTION | USCG approved. This course provides refresher training to Officers in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) and Masters and Chief Mates who do not have sufficient sea time to maintain their continued professional competency. Satisfies requirements of Paragraph 1.3.2 of Section A-I/11 of the STCW code for demonstration of continued professional competence for OICNW or Masters and Chief Mates on ships of 500 GT or more. | |
